Knee Deep Brewing will be pouring kegs of Tanilla and Simtra for two days at the 18th Annual Eldorado BBQ Blues & Brews Festival in Reno, NV

Event Dates: June 21st & 22nd 2013

The unofficial kick off to summer, the 18th Annual Great Eldorado BBQ, Brews and Blues festival is set for Friday, June 21 and Saturday, June 22. The event is equal parts barbeque block party, micro-brew tasting event and music festival with two stages featuring non-stop rock and blues.

Nothing says summer like barbecue and the Eldorado has the perfect compliment to the festival’s variety of micro-brews…grilled chicken, ribs, sausage and more fresh from the outdoor charbroil grill. Food booths will line Virginia Street.

Headliners for this year’s event include Blood Sweat & Tears, Greg Kihn Band and Tommy Castro and The Painkillers. Festival favorites like the Shane Dwight Band, Maxx Cabello Jr. and Jason King Band will be returning with newcomers like Carolyn Dolan & Big Red, Rick Hammond Blues Band, The Schall Adams Band, Valentine Rodeo and Whiskey Hauler rounding out the line-up.

7th Annual Raley Field Brewfest

Come join the Knee Deep Crew @ the 7th Annual Raley Field Brewfest on June 7th from 7 to 10 pm. VIP starts at 6pm.

Raley Field’s seventh-annual Brewfest, presented by Wingstop, will take place on Friday, June 7, 2013, from 7-10 p.m., with the VIP portion of the event set for 6-7 p.m. For the second year in a row, all of the festivities will take place on the Raley Field outfield, with vendors set up in a quarter-mile semi-circle around the perimeter of the playing surface and a stage set up near second base.

The 2013 Brewfest—a partnership between Raley Field, the Northern California Brewer’s Guild, and Wingstop—is expected once again to be the largest in the event’s history, with more than 60 beer vendors expected to attend. Live music will be playing on the field, and food will be available for sale.

Tickets are $30 in advance or $35 on the day of the event, with VIP tickets available for $50. VIP tickets include 18 tastings instead of the 10 tastings offered in the regular ticket package. In addition, VIP ticket holders can gain entry into Raley Field an hour prior to the 7 p.m. regular entry time. Additional tastings are available for purchase at the event for both regular and VIP ticket holders.

The WCBF is coming on May 18, 2013… and everyone is excited about the possibilities: More Beer, More Music, More Food, and More of Your Friends have More Fun!

How We Started.

Founded in 2000 by Dwight Bradish, Matson Breakey and Brian Freeman, we are proud to bring this event back to Sacramento year after year.

The West Coast will forever be known as the origin of the Micro-Brew, and the revolution across the nation against low-quality, low-variety, beers. The West Coast Brewers Festival is the first Brew Fest dedicated to celebrating the significance of California, Washington and Oregon in the development of the Micro Brew industry. Traditionally this event is held at Miller Park right along the river in Sacramento.

WCBF is everything a brewers fest should be with Live Music by the local bands, great food provided by great vendors and TOKENLESS MICROBREW TASTING!

Unlike most Brewers Festivals, the WCBF has a sanctioned Commercial Craft Competition two weeks prior to the festival where certified beer judges will conduct a double-blind tasting over 18 different categories to determine their favorites among the hundreds of beers that are entered. Ribbons will be awarded and the breweries will proudly display their prizes at the Brew Fest.

The WCBF is a fundraiser for the Make-A-Difference Project, in cooperation with the Sacramento Urban League.

“We want to highlight West Coast Breweries, and have a little fun, but we also want to do so for the right reasons,” says Matson Breakey, spokesperson for the event.

Breweries from Washington, Oregon and California and all over the West Coast will display their craft the day of the event. With live music, tokenless microbrew tasting, and a great vartiety of foods, the West Coast Brew Fest promises to be an awesome event for everyone.

This is one of the greatest beer festivals of all time. 2 days of camping with great beers from all over = great memories and many stories to tell.

Knee Deep Wins Bronze at IPA Festival

On Saturday April 6th 2013, Knee Deep Brewing wins the Bronze Medal at The Bistro’s 16th Annual IPA Festival in Hayward, CA. This IPA festival is considered the World Series of IPA Festivals and had 70 different IPA’s from California to New York.
